rule is: whatever happens on the field, stays on the field
i cant help it but to blog about this. about how surprisingly the girls did awesomely well for pol-ite considering that they only had few months of introduction to touch and hardly a month of intensive training with coach angel. seriously they were good HOKAY! we were diving here & there for touches. i dont remember doing that during my first touch tournament neither do the rest of u girls, right sarah nisa!? the first day of pol-ite, some of the girls and i were at cafe1 having our lunch when i told them that my only concern is whether they would be demoralised by the score line. i mean im so used to losing with u girls right? and now that this is the girls' first real tournament, i was quite worried for them actually. but turns out, they are like us! lose still take pictures like mad! dive at mud! roll around and pour water at each other! smacking of butts. hahaha. wah we really brought all these things down to them, RIGHT FEFE NANA MEL?! haha :D
i want to say my thanks for the sacrifises and support given- boys who regularly trained with us, anabelle heng for starting to use contact lenses just for this tournament (she took 20mins to put 1 side of the lens btw), sharifah for buying sports bra last minute (haha!), the rest of the girls including me for buying long socks just to look like a team, the college west girls for joining us (finally someone from other college!). and of course how i can ever forget ms eunice tay & coach angel for the 2 jerseys (so we dnt hv to wash them everyday) and for nt giving up on us respectively. :D but ms eunice next time rent a bus for us can? :|
i went through some of the girls' blog and only now i know how fired up and excited they were for this tournament. they all had atleast 1 entry about pol-ite each. and something i found in them so amazing- after every game or even training they will go to coach and ask coach how they did for tht game/trng. like a review like tht ah. cool right? i dont remember doing that with anne, heh heh. (speaking of which, she refereed our games :D) i do bond alot with these new girls during the tournament. like salliha and me are kakis during gossiping, nana and i are toilet singing partners. wakakka.
hafiz was supporting us (or maybe just BELLE) throughout the tournament but he didnt get to celebrate with us on our last game. for that he felt so saaaaaaad about it so i told belle i'll write something here for him. so hafiz, thank u for ur continuous support on us, for staying with us at the sub box and for taking over the trainings when coach or im nt around. u've been such a great help.
pictures from my cammyra have yet to be uploaded cause im a busy bee, heeeeh. anyhoos u can just bloghop and hop and hop on the rest of the girl's blog for pics. they are much efficiant than i am!
and yaaaaaa! monday is the boys' game at tp 7pm. against np. im soooo looking forward ah, i havent been to their games. im gg with the rest of the girls. if u free come down ok coz i got special request from samuel to take pics of them hahah!
